Build a career as an Engineering innovator\u00a0<\/strong>
\nJoin our international engineering teams on our Graduate Programme in one of our three divisions \u2013 IMI Precision, IMI Critical and IMI Hydronic Engineering – and you\u2019ll be able to try out a variety of different roles across our business. You\u2019ll need to understand our customers and the challenges they face, always working towards resolutions. Spend two years rotating through engineering roles, with one rotation giving you the chance to play a part in Growth Hub, our innovation engine, working on live projects, seeing the product lifecycle from end to end and gaining international experience when working in another country. By the end of the programme, you\u2019ll have all the skills needed to specialise your engineering career.<\/p>\n

You could be working with teams on life-saving technology that goes into ventilators, engineering solutions that will allow hydrogen to power commercial trucks in the future with zero emissions or building the tech that controls indoor temperature and reduces our environmental impact or designing equipment which automates processes in factories and warehouses leading to improved safety and efficiency. Placements you could join us in include:
\n– Project Engineering
\n– Application Engineering
\n– New Product Development
\n– Project Management<\/p>\n

What you need\u00a0<\/strong>
\nOur programme offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, which means you may need to relocate. This could be within the country you\u2019re applying for, sometimes it may be to another country. With roles available in locations across the globe, you can apply for overseas opportunities as long as you have the right to work in the country you\u2019re applying to.<\/p>\n

You will also need a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering-related subject area. We\u2019d also like to see some key qualities in our candidates, including:
\n– A fresh, innovative approach
\n– Openness to new and varied experiences
\n– Ability to drive your own development
\n– Fluent in written and spoken local language<\/p>\n
