Where to go for advice about your studies<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

If you have any questions or problems relating to your faculty or subject, your student council<\/a> is the first point of contact. If you have questions specific to your degree program, you can also contact your corresponding academic advisor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The central student advisory service<\/a> provides support with orientation questions at the start of your studies, with motivation and performance problems, doubts about your studies, and financial, social, or health issues.<\/p>\n

Start of the semester \u2013 basics & registration<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

When you start your studies, exam regulations may seem very abstract at first. But don’t worry: a good deal of it is repetitive, and a few basic rules will help you get through the first phase with confidence. You will also notice that many organizational matters are easier once you understand how the university system works.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

RWTHonline<\/span><\/b> is RWTH’s campus management system. You can use it to register for courses and exams, view your grades, and access the self-service portal. There, you can set up your login details for the internet (\u201cEduroam\u201d) or change your personal details. You can also register for lectures there. In practical terms, this means that almost nothing works without RWTHonline \u2013 it is your hub for studies and exams.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
