If you don’t have a laptop at the moment to participate in digital teaching or online exams, you can borrow a laptop from us for free and without a deposit. The CLS has provided us with these laptops. The laptops are not very powerful, but they are sufficient for e.g. online exams.<\/p>\n

The maximum rental period is 4 weeks. A second loan is not possible afterwards<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please bring your BlueCard and ID card with you when you pick it up.<\/p>\n

You can return the laptop to the AStA during our opening hours (Monday \u2013 Friday, 10am \u2013 2pm).<\/p>\n

The limitation of the loan period and the restriction to one loan exist because the computers are intended for students to bridge an emergency situation. For example, if we lend a computer to one person for 2 months during the examination phase, we would not be able to help 3-5 people in need. We ask for your understanding for this consideration.<\/p>\n

If you have financial difficulties and cannot afford to buy or repair a laptop, it may be helpful to apply for a social loan. You can find more information here: Application | AStA der RWTH Aachen (rwth-aachen.de)<\/a><\/p>\n
