More than 11 000 deaths have been confirmed and tens of thousands of people are injured. Thousands of people have lost their homes. Our thoughts are with all the people directly affected by this tragedy, as well as our students whose friends, families and loved ones are affected.<\/p>\n<p>If you have the means and want to donate money, as money is probably the fastest way to help, we recommend you to donate to one of the organisations listed above.<\/p>\n<p>As the AV and AStA, we also want to help those affected by the earthquake by collecting and sending clothes and different items through different organisations. If you have the means and want to donate, we will be accepting the donations on \ud835\udde7\ud835\uddf5\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddff\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddf1\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude06 (\ud835\udfec\ud835\udff5.\ud835\udfec\ud835\udfee) \ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf1 \ud835\uddd9\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddf1\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude06 (\ud835\udfed\ud835\udfec.\ud835\udfec\ud835\udfee), \ud835\uddf3\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddfa \ud835\udfed\ud835\udfec:\ud835\udfec\ud835\udfec \ud835\ude01\ud835\uddfc \ud835\udfed\ud835\udff0:\ud835\udfec\ud835\udfec at AStA der RWTH, that is located beside the Mensa Academica of the RWTH (Pontwall 3, 52062).<\/p>\n<p>The items that will be received are:<br \/>\n\u2022 Warm clothes (items have to be new, as used clothes will not be accepted, even if they are in good conditions!)<br \/>\n\u2022 Blankets and bed sheets (also have to be new!)<br \/>\n\u2022 Sleeping mats<br \/>\n\u2022 Tents<br \/>\n\u2022 Hygiene products<br \/>\n\u2022 Baby products<br \/>\n\u2022 Powerbanks<br \/>\nAll donations help and will be greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last Monday, February 6th, two earthquakes hit the south-east of T\u00fcrkiye and the north of Syria.
