The International Office of RWTH Aachen University is pleased to welcome new international students to the Welcome Week for the Summer Semester 2025, which will take place from <\/span>April 1 to April 4, 2025<\/span><\/b>. The Welcome Week offers a specially designed orientation and support program that helps international students prepare for their studies at RWTH and their life in Aachen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The program begins on April 1 with a personal welcome by the International Office and an introduction to the RWTH community. The highlight of the first day is a welcome event where students will learn more about studying, the campus, and student life. Over the following days, students will have the opportunity to prepare for their studies through various activities and events. These include campus and library tours, intercultural training, fairs with central RWTH facilities, faculties, and student associations, as well as numerous leisure events.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These events not only provide essential information but also promote the social and academic integration of international students. To offer international students valuable information ahead of the Welcome Week, the website <\/span>Fit for RWTH<\/span><\/a> provides helpful materials and recordings. These resources are especially useful for first-year students and late arrivals, helping them get crucial information for their first steps in Aachen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Welcome Week partners, the entire RWTH community, and the volunteers, whose dedication and support make the Welcome Week possible. RWTH students who volunteer during the Welcome Week can have their contributions recognized within the <\/span>Certificate International<\/span><\/a> program.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The International Student Center also provides a Survival Guide and offers open office hours during the Welcome Week to ensure that students always have a point of contact for support.
