An exemption from the semester ticket fee must be applied for at the Student Secretariat. The amount then does not have to be paid. The exemption is then automatically taken into account for the following semester. Afterwards, you have to send the new proof to the Student Secretariat every year. Otherwise, the entire semester amount must be paid first. Proof that bus and train cannot be used must be attached to the application. There is no right to reimbursement.

The application deadline is November 1 (WiSe 23:59) or May 1 (SoSe 23:59).

The applications must be addressed to the Social Committee of the Student Parliament and must be submitted via the following online formular.

The application must be submitted by the respective date. This also applies if the attachments are not yet available! In this case, please write a short Word document that the attachments are unfortunately not yet available, but will be submitted by you later. You can then simply send them by e-mail to semesterticket@asta.rwth-aachen.de. For procedural reasons your application will be rejected at first. However, this is not a big deal and can be changed later.
