Department for Sustainability & student engagement
My name is Nina, I am studying social sciences and I am your AStA representative for sustainability and student engagement.
Student initiatives and student councils are an essential part of student life at RWTH. They provide opportunities for personal development outside of your studies, and that is precisely what I aim to support and highlight through my work.
To this end, there are various advisory services available, for example on submitting motions to the Student Parliament.
It is important to me that the initiatives at RWTH receive greater recognition for their commitment. We at the AStA would like to provide targeted support to achieve this.
In the area of sustainability, we will soon have a thriving campus garden again. We also want to strengthen our collaboration with Aachen University of Applied Sciences (FH Aachen) to organise joint events.
