Consultation on Housing
For most students, the first step in their academic career is to find an apartment. Once found, they can still cause a lot of headaches. And with an unreasonable landlord, frustration quickly ensues.
In order to quickly find an apartment and not be at the mercy of your landlord, the AStA offers housing counselling. We can help you find an apartment, answer questions about tenancy law and answer questions about housing entitlement certificates and housing subsidies.
Tenancy law advice
Should we ever be at the loss when it comes to tenancy law, you will get an appointment with the Mieterschutzverein Aachen e.V. free of charge. In order to do this, you must come to the AStA Housing Counselling in person with your documents, show your Student Identification and pay a deposit of 10€ which will be returned to you by the Mieterschutzverein at the end of your appointment.
