Dear students,
BAföG can also already be applied for the preliminary courses, which take place full-time and are conducted by teachers of the RWTH. Furthermore, a certificate of enrollment must be available. For this purpose, write the name of your course of study in your regular application under the field “class/subject”, as well as the addition “+ pre-course” and enclose a certificate of attendance of the pre-course.
It is crucial that the application for BAföG is submitted in September at the latest, otherwise funding is not possible from the month of September onwards.
