Students who finish their studies can apply for a pro-rata refund of the semester ticket fee for the full months remaining until the end of the semester. A refund only for the last month of the semester will not be made. For this purpose, the deadline for submitting an application is the 1st of the following month after exmatriculation (e.g. exmatriculation 12.01. – end of deadline 01.02.).

In case of de-registration before the beginning of the lecture period of the semester in question, a refund of the entire semester fee can be requested from the Student secretariat.

The application deadline is the 1st of the month following the de-registration.

The application must be submitted by the respective date. This also applies if the attachments are not yet available! In this case, please write a short Word document that the attachments are unfortunately not yet available, but will be submitted by you later. You can then simply send them by e-mail to semesterticket@asta.rwth-aachen.de. For procedural reasons your application will be rejected at first. However, this is not a big deal and can be changed later.
