The presidential elections in Turkey are coming up!
This raises the hopes of many people for a progressive change in politics. The severe economic crisis, the terrible earthquake, the repression of critical journalists and brutal persecution of Kurds and other minorities, leads to considerable tensions both domestically and externally.
Can the alliance around the CHP prevail?
And what role will the Kurds play in this election?
Will there be fair and democratic elections at all?
