Due to the Corona-Epidemie-Hochschulverordnung § 10 passed by the state, the individual standard period of study of all students who are not enrolled as second students has been increased by several semesters. (SoSe20, WiSe 20/21, SoSe21, WiSe 21/22)

Following this, the entitlement to BAföG funding should also increase. Students who would be entitled to BAföG again due to the extension of the standard period of study should send a normal application for further approval to the Bafögamt. In addition, you will find a document of an informal application on this page, which you can attach. (This will make it easier for your case worker to process your application, but it is not obligatory).
