Als wachsendes Dienstleistungsunternehmen haben wir ein umfassendes Verwaltungs- und Personalprogramm eigenständig in Python entwickelt. Dieses System ist das digitale Rückgrat unseres Unternehmens: Es steuert sämtliche Prozesse – von Mitarbeiter- und Klientenverwaltung über Lohnabrechnungen und Rechnungserstellung bis hin zu Controlling, Auswertungen und operativen Abläufen. Durch die Mitarbeit an unserem internen System erhältst du nicht nur tiefe Einblicke in die Softwareentwicklung, sondern lernst auch verschiedene Unternehmensbereiche in der Praxis kennen.

Was dich erwartet

• Pflege und Weiterentwicklung unseres bestehenden Python-Programms
• Optimierung der PostgreSQL-Datenbankanbindung, inklusive Überarbeitung der Sicherheitskonzepte
• Entwicklung eines sicheren Login- und Berechtigungssystems
• Konzeption und Entwicklung einer neuen Web- & App-Anwendung (Android/iOS)

Erste Aufgaben: Einarbeitung, Wartung und Weiterentwicklung des Personalprogramms und unserer Datenbankstruktur

Perspektivisch: Aufbau einer vollwertigen Mitarbeiter-App mit Anbindung an unsere Datenbank mit (gegebenenfalls wird die App auch über eine Agentur entwickelt)

• Arbeitszeiterfassung
• Erstellung von Stundennachweisen
• Erweiterbar um zahlreiche weitere Funktionen, die direkt mit dem Personalprogramm verbunden sind

Zusätzliche Möglichkeiten (optional):

• Mitwirkung bei allgemeinen IT-Administrationsaufgaben
• Einführung einer Versionsverwaltung (z. B. Git) und Aufbau einfacher CI/CD-Prozesse

Was du mitbringen solltest

• Solide Kenntnisse in Python
• Eine strukturierte, saubere und nachvollziehbare Arbeitsweise im Code
• Erste Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Datenbanken (idealerweise PostgreSQL)
• Erfahrung mit Web-Frameworks oder App-Entwicklung
• Interesse an Themen wie IT-Sicherheit und Authentifizierungskonzepte
• Eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Die Fähigkeit, bestehende Lösungen zu hinterfragen und mitzugestalten

Nice to have (nicht erforderlich)

• Kenntnisse in IT-Administration oder Security-Themen
• Erfahrung mit Git, Deployment-Prozessen oder CI/CD

Who we are

Jugendhilfe Hand in Hand GmbH & Co. KG is a regional provider of school and daycare support, ambulant family assistance, and day-to-day support for children and families. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to support us in the field of software development.

As a growing social services organization, we have independently developed a comprehensive internal platform for administration and HR management using Python. This system forms the digital backbone of our organization: it manages all processes – from employee and client administration to payroll, invoicing, controlling, analytics, and operational workflows.

Your work on our internal system will give you hands-on experience in software development as well as valuable insights into the operational side of a social services organization.

What to Expect

• Maintenance and further development of our existing Python-based application
• Optimization of the PostgreSQL database connection, including a revision of the security concepts
• Development of a secure login and permission system
• Planning and development of a new web and mobile application (Android/iOS)

Initial tasks: Familiarization with the system, maintenance and further development of the software and database structure

In the long term: Development of a fully-fledged employee app integrated with our internal system (possibly in cooperation with an external agency)

• Working time tracking
• Generation of timesheets
• Expandable with numerous other features directly linked to the HR system

Additional opportunities (optional):

• Assist with general IT administration
• Introduction of version control (e.g., Git) and setup of basic CI/CD processes

What You Should Bring

• Solid knowledge of Python
• A structured, clean, and comprehensible coding style
• Initial experience with databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Experience working with web frameworks or in app development
• Interest in IT security and authentication concepts
• An independent and solution-oriented working style
• The ability to critically assess and improve existing solutions

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Knowledge in IT administration or security topics
• Experience with Git, deployment processes, or CI/CD
