Software Developer (m/w/d) (Working Student)

OSPHIM revolutionizes human-machine cooperation in injection molded parts production. We help customers reduce setup times, scrap rates, and energy consumption, saving them money, time, and effort. Our platform offers companies process optimization options offline or in real time without needing to write code. Using a combination of machine learning models and expert knowledge through a web-based interface, OSPHIM is the result of years of research.

💪 Your responsibilities

Your main task will be to help architect and implement features on the OSPHIM-Web platform. This includes:

  • Implement functional pages and UI-components
  • Expand and improve our ever growing REST-API
  • Influence design decisions of our database models and code base
  • Uphold high coding standard to ensure the health and scalability of our code base
  • Write tests for business critical functions and systems
  • Document and own your work
  • Critically assess the UX of a given workflow within the application and discuss with the team

🧑‍🎨 Your profile

The following criteria outline an ideal candidate:

  • At least one year of experience developing full stack applications
  • Good knowledge with HTML, CSS, JS/TS
  • Strong familiarity with at least one frontend framework (Svelte, React, Vue, Angular …)
  • Experience with Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL…)
  • You value clear communication and good documentation of your work, especially when working remotely

Extra points if you have

  • Experience with Docker
  • Basic understanding about good UX-Design
  • Experience with DevOps
