The RWTH has decided not to allow face-to-face examinations until April 12th. In exceptional cases, face-to-face exams with a minimum of 50 participants can be held in consultation with the rectorate. In this case, you will be explicitly notified by your lecturers. Failed exams that are not offered as distance exams are currently moved behind the previously scheduled exams. If you were dependent on a cancelled exam, for example because you are about to graduate, you can submit a hardship request to your examination board. We continue to urge all lecturers to use no-present exam formats where possible and to communicate information about their own exams promptly and transparently to give us students the greatest possible planning security.
