For the Equality Project of the Student Body as Equality Project Officer
Are you interested in gender equality work at your university and are you sensitive to gender policy issues? Would you like to do something against discrimination and help RWTH Aachen University move forward in gender equality issues? Do you want to work as part of a team and implement your own ideas for campaigns and events?
Then apply for the equal opportunities project set up by the RWTH student parliament! All RWTH students can apply for this position.
Your tasks as an Equal Opportunities Project Officer
- Acting as a trustworthy contact point for all students, student initiatives and student bodies in matters of gender equality.
- Head of the Equal Opportunities Project Team
- Advertising and public relations
- Representing the interests of students, especially vis-à-vis the university
- Organisation of events
What should you bring with you?
- An interest in helping your fellow students
- in particular, to deal in depth with the topics of gender and diversity
- Communication and assertiveness skills
- Sensitivity and empathy
- creativity
- Fluent in German, fluent in English
- 15 hours of time per week
What can you expect?
The two student equal opportunities project officers jointly lead a team of other volunteers. You will work on the premises of the AStA and thus in close cooperation with it. There are many opportunities for you to implement your own projects and ideas.
The Equal Opportunities Project Officers are accountable to the student parliament. This means that you have to be present at the monthly meetings of the student parliament and report on your work and answer questions.
You will receive an allowance for your voluntary work.
