The Clinic for Gastroenterology, Metabolic Disorders and Internal Intensive Medicine (Medical Clinic III) is seeking a
Student assistant (f/m/d) for Data-driven Hepatology Research
with a limited term for a year. The position starts on January 1st 2024 and the regular weekly working time is 4-16 hours.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized student assistant to support our hepatology research team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with literature searches, manuscript writing, and the processing and uploading of manuscripts. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in academic research and publication processes within the field of hepatology.
Tasks

Conduct comprehensive literature searches using various academic databases
Assist in the drafting and editing of research manuscripts
Support the submission process of manuscripts to scientific journals, including formatting and uploading documents according to specific journal guidelines
Collaborate with the research team to ensure the accuracy and quality of research materials
Organize and maintain research data and documentation
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the research team
Profile

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program related to Medicine, Biology, Bioinformatics or a related field
Strong interest in data-driven hepatology and medical research
Proficient in academic research and literature review
Excellent writing skills in English, with the ability to edit scientific texts
Familiarity with manuscript submission processes and journal formatting guidelines is a plus
Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management softwares
Condition

A valid certificate of study in Computer Science/Informatics or related degrees
For foreign students: valid residence certificate, work permit, registration certificate
