Offene Tür: Austausch über (erlebte) Diskriminierung
What? “Open Door” Talk about discrimination
When? April 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Where? Zoom
By whom? Student assistant representative and student equal opportunities officer
Have you experienced or witnessed discrimination — at university, in your student assistant role, or during an internship? Do you sometimes feel excluded, disadvantaged, or not taken seriously?
Come by! We offer an open exchange about experiences and dealing with discrimination in a university context. Our goal is to provide you with a platform where you can learn about possible steps to take, network, and empower yourself. How far you go, how much you share, what you take away, and how long you participate: It’s entirely up to you!
We are the student assistant representatives and the student equal opportunities officer. Through our work, we experience how difficult it can be to recognize and address discrimination. With our open door, we want to break down the barriers and create a safer space where we can listen to each other and empower each other. We do not want to and cannot replace counseling but rather complement it.
Our first meeting will be held mainly in German, but all non-German speakers are welcome and we are flexible in this matter.
Best regards
The student assistant representatives and the student equal opportunities officer
