AStA Bicycle workshop
Our bicycle workshop is located in the bicycle basement of the C.A.R.L. lecture hall building on the Claßenstraße. The workshop is a Do-It-Yourself bicycle workshop. You will be assisted by skilled students when repairing your bike! We provide the tools, but you have to bring your own spare parts. This offer is exclusively for students and others affiliated with RWTH.
Bicycle workshop
Our bike workshop in the bike basement of the C.A.R.L. is open for you every Monday to Friday from 3 to 7 pm. Once you have booked your appointment slot, you can enter the building via the entrance to the bike basement.
We are happy to advise you comprehensively on repairs and other topics. If you are repairing your bike for the first time or need help with troubleshooting in general, then make an appointment.
You already know your way around, have probably researched extensively and don’t need any help or advice? Then feel free to come by without an appointment.
Toolbox rental
From now on you can borrow a toolbox with bicycle tools from us to be able to repair your bike at home. The case can be borrowed on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30-13:30 at the AStA (Mensa Academica, Pontwall 3). The return is always on the next Monday or Thursday at 13:00 or by arrangement.

The suitcase must be reserved via this form!
To borrow the equipment, an ID-card must be presented and a deposit of 20€ must be paid.
BikeKitchen
You don’t find the time to fix your bike during the week or you enjoy cooking? Every second Saturday of the month from 2 to 6 pm you can visit the BikeKitchen. The BikeKitchen Aachen has the same concept as our bike workshop: There are tools and help, but you have to repair it yourself.
