Filmvorführung Picture A Scientist

Wir laden euch sehr herzlich zu unserer digitalen Filmvorführung von “Picture A Scientist” ein! Der Film zeigt die Benachteiligung von Frauen und Minderheiten im wissenschaftlichen Umfeld an eindrucksvollen Beispielen und Fakten. Hier geht es zum Trailer: https://www.pictureascientist.com/media

Den Film könnt ihr am 30. Juni und 1. Juli streamen. Dank der Unterstützung vom Rektorat und vom AStA, gibt es eine begrenzte Anzahl kostenloser Tickets für euch. Den Zugang dazu erhaltet ihr am 23. Juni über euer RWTH oder FH Postfach. Solltet Ihr kein kostenloses Ticket mehr bekommen haben, könnt Ihr für 10€ ein kostenpflichtiges Ticket kaufen. Dies bietet sich auch an, wenn Ihr den Film zusammen im Freundeskreis sehen wollt.

Im Anschluss an den Film veranstalten wir am Donnerstag, den 1. Juli, ab 18 Uhr, eine digitale Podiumsdiskussion mit Studierenden und Professor*innen von FH und RWTH Aachen.

Film screening Picture A Scientist

We very warmly invite you to our digital movie screening of “Picture A Scientist”. This movie shows the discrimination of woman and minorities in the scientific field based on impressive examples and facts.

Thanks to the support of the Rectorate and the AStA, there is a limited number of free tickets for you. You can stream the movie on June 30th and July 1st. If you cannot get a free ticket anymore, you can book one for 10€. This is suitable if you want to watch the movie together with your friends or colleagues.

After the movie, we will host a digital panel discussion with students and professors from FH and RWTH Aachen University on Thursday, July 1st, starting at 6pm. Even though the discussion is held in German, you are welcome to ask questions in English.
