Linux eignet sich gut als Betriebssystem fürs Studium, gerade für Informatik, Physik und Mathematik. Der einfachste Weg, das auszuprobieren, ist die Linux Install Party.
Wir helfen bei der Installation von Kubuntu (einstiegsfreundliche Variante von Linux) neben einem bestehenden Betriebssystem. Außerdem kann sehr bequem Software für die oben genannten Fächer installiert werden.

Bitte beachte, dass ein 3G-Nachweis erforderlich ist! Mehr Hinweise zum Infektionsschutz gibt es auf der Website der Veranstaltung. Komm bitte spätestens eine Stunde vor Ende der Veranstaltung, damit genug Zeit für die Installation bleibt.

Linux is a well-suited operating system for students, especially of computer science, physics and mathematics. The simplest way of trying this out is our Linux Install Party.
We help you to install Kubuntu (a variant of Linux suited for beginners) next to an existing OS. Additionally we offer a very simple way of installing software for your studies.

Please note that a 3G certificate is required (verify that you’re fully vaccinated, recovered, or have a negative test not older than 24h). If you have any questions or need more information in English please write us an email. Please come at least one hour before the end of the event in order to have enough time for the installation.
