We warmly welcome international students for the summer semester 2021 to RWTH Aachen University with virtual Welcome Week events and support offers!
For the summer semester 2021, the International Office welcomes the new international first-year students with a virtual Welcome Week and digital support offers to ensure a good start at RWTH and in the city of Aachen.
The Online Welcome Week will take place from 07 April 2021 to 10 April 2021 and will start with an official kick-off event and end with a welcome program from the student initiatives. Students will receive important information about studying and living in Aachen.
Over the course of the introduction week, various virtual info events and presentations specifically addressing the needs and interests of international students will take place. Organizational, academic and residence law issues are explained in detail by the respective experts. The Immigration Office and the Studierendenwerk are available as external partners. Students also have the opportunity to get to know the advisors and student councils of their own faculties and to ask questions on peer-to-peer basis.
Guided tours of the central campus in small groups, if possible, intercultural workshops, a Talk Show by international students and a variety of recreational online events offered by the student associations constitute a colorful program.
