The RWTH has decided that no exams and courses in presence are to take place from March the 29th to May the 23rd. Excluded from this are laboratory practicals that have already been authorized. All permissions already granted for face-to-face exams have been withdrawn. Examination dates are not to be postponed any further in order to give all participants planning security. No more face-to-face exams are to be held in parallel with distance exams. Students who are unable to take a distance examination for medical reasons may submit a hardship application for a face-to-face examination to their Examination Committee (Prüfungsausschuss). The Medical Faculty’s Dean’s Office is responsible for courses and exams in their faculty, which is why exceptions may occur here.
